- Our first stop is at Cedral park. Hiking is the main activity here. It is relaxing, suitable for all ages, and you can follow the established routes on the different trails, which are divided according to their duration and difficulty.
- After that, we will visit the mine, a currently inactive but clearly illustrative mine, to learn about the extraction and collection process of minerals such as silver and gold, a process explained by our local guide.
- We will come back to the town of Mineral del Chico, where you will get to know the church of the Purísima Concepción with its neoclassical style and the statue located in the central garden in reference to the Goddess Leda and her Swan, which was designed especially for this place. On the way to the mine, you can see the house of the witches and the mountain of the nuns. We will go through the River of Miracles, famous because it does not dry out in any season.
- You can taste the local food and eat at the gastronomic market, where we will try the region’s famous quesadillas de gualumbo, known for being 30 cm long.
- If the weather permits, we will participate in a marzipan workshop. We will give you some free time to get to know the place, and before the afternoon falls, we will return to Mexico City to conclude our tour.
