What to expect?

At the indicated time we will meet at the Sheraton María Isabel hotel to begin our excursion to Valle de Bravo and the monarch butterfly sanctuary. Let's go there!

After two and a half hours of travel, we will arrive at the Piedra Herrada monarch butterfly sanctuary. Once there, you can choose if you want to do the tour on foot or on horseback.

For around three and a half hours, we will walk through lush forests full of monarch butterflies and we will closely appreciate the bright orange color so characteristic of this type of insect. Did you know that, during the migration stage, this species travels more than 5,000 kilometers from southern Canada to Mexico? Incredible!

At the end of the tour of the sanctuary, we will leave you half an hour of free time so that you can rest and have a snack on your own before heading to the next destination.

After regaining our strength, we will head to Valle de Bravo, a magical town located on the shores of a lake that has the same name. There, we will visit the Velo de Novia natural park and the imposing waterfall inside with a drop of more than 30 meters. You will have approximately an hour and a half free to explore this natural wonder at your leisure.

Finally, we will say goodbye at the starting point twelve hours after the start of the activity.
