What to Expect

Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Xochicalco Archaeological Site is a perfect example of the period known as Epiclassic, characterized by the emerge of cities in central Mexico after the decline of the Teotihuacan city. Despite not being as famous as the ruins of Chichén Itzá or Tulum, Xochicalco has pyramids and plazas worth seeing.

In addition to exploring the archaeological site, we will enter the Xochicalco museum to learn everything about the Mayan culture.

After touring the ruins, we will head to Cuernavaca and explore this iconic colonial city.

First of all, we will visit the 16th century Franciscan cathedral. It is one of the oldest on the continent!
-We'll continue with a visit to Robert Brady Museum, an emblematic building with an outstanding private collection of art, decoration and historical artifacts.

Explore the unique collection of paintings and decorative arts from around the world.

You'll be able to enjoy this house-museum created in a section of the 16th century Franciscan convent.

You will then have free time to eat at a local restaurant. (not included)
